What does GOD expect from us, His Children?

  • To worship Him – Revelation 4:11
  • Obedience to His commands – John 14:15
  • Passionately pursue after Him and the interest of His Kingdom – Mark 12:30
  • To be Fruitful – John 15:5
  • To be Disciplined – 1 Corinthians 9:27
  • To be a Faithful steward of His Blessings – Matthew 25:21
  • For godly living – 1 Timothy 4:8

Our Prayer is that, each one of us will live to fulfill the Hope of GODs call upon our lives in Jesus Name. Amen

One of our earnest desires here at TLB is to burn fervently in Spirit, which implies intense passion for the things of GOD and advancement of His Kingdom.

Furthermore, we highlighted some of the litmus-test that proves one that is fervent in Spirit:

  • Longs to be in GODs Presence
  • Spiritually minded
  • Prompt obedience to His leading

Afterwards, we received the benediction and ended the Feast, resuscitated in Heart for greater service.

We all desire for a Miracle.

However, miracles come not blindly by struggling, but by engaging with certain Principles (Spiritual Laws).

These Laws are effectual when put into practice.

Examples of the Laws:
The Law of Believing and Confessing – Romans 10:10
The Law of Giving – Luke 6:38
The Law of Harvest – Mark 4:26-29

It was an insightful session, and everyone was encouraged to key into practicing these laws.

On Saturday 18th of February 2023, we Feasted on Romans 4:17, which inspired the discussion of “how to put ones Faith to work”.

With the understanding that we are one Spirit with Jesus in accordance with 1 Corinthians 6:17, and the works He did, shall we also do in John 14:12, we too can release our Faith by speaking things to reality.

To conclude the Feast, a prayer was raised for a peaceful election in Nigeria.

The Feast was served from the Scripture of 1 Timothy 4:8, which reveals the tremendous benefit of exercising the Spirit man, not just in this present life but in the age to come.

We went further to outline and to discuss the different forms of Spiritual exercises, which includes:

  • Word study
  • Prayer
  • Fasting
  • Meditation
  • Silence & Solitude
  • Journaling
  • Reading Christian Literatures
  • Kingdom service
  • Confession & Genuine repentance.

The Feast gloriously ended with a closing Prayer.

TLB Feast resumed virtually on Saturday, the 21st of January 2023. It lasted for 30minutes.

The Feast opened with a short Prayer and thereafter a brief insight to the purpose and necessity to commune together as Believers. The Feast is prepared to hold bi-weekly on Saturday’s and will be hosted by Jesus. It is always a glorious time to feed our inner self with Divine Truth, which becomes our guide and buckler as we walk through Life.

Furthermore, like the tribe of Issachar in 1 Chronicles 12:32, everyone was encouraged to understand the times of Fasting and Praying at the onset of the year, now 2023. The Bible reading was taken from Habakkuk 2:1-4, Fasting and Praying is a time we wait and watch to receive GODs message; like a watchman that stands on a watchtower and positioned at the gate to know what GOD says, which is a very important Spiritual exercise to do, even at the beginning of the year.

The Feast ended with a Benediction.

Time is fleeting, they say.

It was just a moment ago we entered into the year 2022. Now, in the blink of an eye, the year is gradually winding down.

Days before the crack of a new year, I usually seat in silent contemplation of how I had lived out the year coming to an end, how well I accomplished my year’s resolution, the decisions I made and how they impacted my life……was I successful? I would ask quietly.

We all have our definition of success, but success is far more than the amount of money in one’s bank account, material possession, fame, and all sorts.

Success is simply the accomplishment of a meaning, purpose, and fulfillment.

Good success is having an unbroken relationship with Jesus and growing in the knowledge of Him. This is how and the only way, we get satisfied and fulfilled in life.
Deuteronomy 30:20 [emphasis mine], Love the Lord your GOD, obey His voice, hold closely to Him, for He is your Life, your good life, your abundant life, your fulfillment, and the length of your days.

In retrospection, how is your relationship with Jesus?

Did you generously give Him the first fruit of your time?

Did you prioritize Him first in your life?

You see, it is never late, for Ecclesiastes 7:8 says, the end of a matter is better than its beginning.

You can start now and get connected back with Jesus, for this is ONLY how you end the year well and successfully.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and I activate the cleansing power of the Blood of Jesus to purge my Heart and remove every impurity and acquit me of every guilt.

Come make my Heart, Your home, and become the Lord over my life in Jesus Name. Amen

As GODs inheritance, you and I should hope for a wonderous and glorious future that no man can challenge.

By Divine calendar, now is the time for you to experience the riches of GODs goodness and there will never be delays again in your life anymore. Amen

“GOD IS GOOD” became my Mantra.

Little did I know, my Heart was constantly drenched with Truth that will fortify me through this thing called Life. By the way, what is Life? This might sound rhetorical, but I dare say that Life is the sum total of the decisions we make and do not make.
There are days when it will look promising and some days it roars with the echoes of uncertainty and its daunting horizon. Despite the times or seasons we inadvertently find ourselves, we must always be comforted with this Truth, that GOD is GOOD.


James 1:17, there is nothing we can find wrong in HIM, there is no hidden shadow or darkness.


This implies that we need to have a renewed orientation responding to Life. Let’s be encouraged to possess a different outlook, perceiving every trial, trouble, distress as an opportunity to learn and grow and most importantly, to draw closer to GOD.


Hope deferred makes the Heart sick, Proverbs 13:12. This means that when our desires drag to fulfill, it makes the Heart sick. I have longed for breakthroughs, desired a touch from Heaven, in fact the delays could be depressing. Despite, in the midst of it all, the HOLY SPIRIT reminds me of Psalm 84:11, which says, HE will not withhold any good thing from those who walk upright. My hope comes alive again, my Heart rejoices at HIS assuring WORD, then I resolve to live uprightly with personal integrity and moral courage knowing that GOD IS GOOD.


What is your experiential knowledge of GOD?

GOD IS GOOD
Though, we are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed
Perplexed but not in despair
Persecuted but not forsaken
Struck down but not destroyed
2 Corinthians 4:8


Though we do not know what to do, quitting is NEVER an option

What does it mean to pray without ceasing?

Prayer is one way to stay connected with GOD. Through prayer, we are able to communicate with Him, sharing our thoughts, emotions, and feelings with Him and then He responds by showing us mighty things as He speaks to us revealing His plans and purpose for our lives.

For this reason, we are admonished to Pray without ceasing in 1 Thessalonians 5:17,
